Hardware requirements

In this article you will learn what the minimal and recommended hardware requirements are to use Muute on your device. If your device does not meet the minimal requirements, Muute will possibly just work fine but not as smoothly as on other devices.

Operating system requirements

In order to run Muute, you will need a Windows device with Windows 10 or Windows 11 (Home/Pro/Education), or a macOS device with at least macOS 12.4.

  3. Architecture:
    1. Windows: 64 bits / x64
    2. macOS: Intel or ARM, 64 bits
  4. CPU: 4 cores
    1. Note that on devices with fewer cores or low clock speed (combined with running many applications and antivirus in the background), it may take more time to start Muute. The application will still launch, but we cannot guarantee a smooth experience.
